People Helping People is dedicated to reducing the number of children living in poverty by teaching low-income women, primarily single mothers, how to earn an adequate income through stable employment that pays a living wage.

As a client in their Employment Program you will: discover your marketable skills, meet local employers, produce a professional resume, practice your interviewing skills, learn how to make the world of work ‘work for you’! 6000+ Individuals engaged through Community Awareness which included presentations and flyer distribution through agency partners, participation at community outreach events, and marketing efforts for the Single Mother Seminars.

Education
498 – Individuals participated in our Employment Education Workshops Series.
525 – Workshops and study group sessions were offered.
80 – Local and national employers shared their job opportunities with our clients at our monthly Employer Meet and Greets and Single Mothers Seminars.

Inquiries/Enrollment
1648 – Individuals were introduced to program services, were placed on our waiting list and signed up to receive 12 monthly Employment Tips Postcards or re-enrolled to continue their participation in our ongoing workshops series and coaching and mentoring programs.

197 – Individuals participated in one-on-one Coaching in Phase 1 Coaching,
Employment Preparation.

94 – Individuals worked one-on-one with a mentor in Phase 2 Mentoring & Coaching, Resume & Job Search.

149 – Individuals were eligible for membership in Phase 3, Employment Strategies Network (ESN).

55 – Eligible members participated in at least one ESN Session.
